FAQs
1. What are your plans on the international shipping?
Since I have just started selling my pieces, I want to explore first, what is the demand for international delivery. For now, I think of having international delivery somewhere in April-May within the EU and Ukraine.
2. Do you make custom orders?
I do, but in very particular cases. Currently, I’m aimed only at the pet dinnerware that you may find in Custom orders. Sometimes I take custom orders outside of the range defined on the website, but this happens rarely.
3. How much does it take to make 1 ceramic piece?
Since I work in the community studio within limited hours, I have some limitations on the production timelines. First, I need to make a base on the wheel or hand-build it, this may take from 15 minutes to 2 hours. Then, if the piece was made on the wheel, I need to trim it, which will take me from 15 minutes to 1 hour. Then, I need to wait for my piece to dry (around a week), and then wait for the bisque firing in the community kiln (which is approximately 1 week). When the piece is bisque fired, I need to glaze it, which will take me from 30 minutes to 1.5 hours, and then wait for another firing. The waiting time of the community kiln may take around 1-2 weeks. So, to sum up, the production timeline for now is 1-1.5 months, but it can be less, depending on the firing schedule.
4. Can you speed up the firing process?
No, it’s the community kiln. If one day I have my studio, timelines will shrink drastically.
5. Which studio you work in?
I work in the PANSA studio. Explore their page for other community members’ pieces and workshop schedule.
